Growlanser 4: Wayfarer of Time is a game ported from PS2. The artist and character design for this series is Satoshi Urushihara who is known for his 'unique' art. The similarity place of this game series is that each series consist of a fairy familiar that accompany you (who is also one of the possible ending selection)
I recommend this game for those RPG lovers. There are many points of why I think this game is good.
1. This game consist of good story line where the Main Character (MC) would need to save the world by defeating angels. The story changes as time progresses which also changes your objective. The story really attract you to continue playing to know its progress.
2. Multiple ending depends on your action and choice you performed.
3. The game is not highly depend on equipment which would not really need players to farm for their gears. ( Which hints you to use your money in another place)
4. Character designed by Urushihara Satoshi.
5. Unique spell casting method which can be used in performing combined spell what can hit large area.
You can also change the fate of those you met by act at appropriate time which is also a feature of this game. You can see the alternate end of those fate you changed.
The game might looked retro and old, but the content of this game is good. Some people might not used to this kind of old game (since they are used to 3D and design of the current game).
P.S: Current existing FAQ on this game which is on PS2 is quite usable on this portable version. I have cleared this game once on solo ending.
